According to data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), approximately 823,000 Pennsylvania citizens over the age of 12 reported past month use of an illicit drug.
Additional survey results indicate that 281,000 Pennsylvania citizens reported illicit drug dependence or abuse within the past year. Approximately 185,000 reported past year illicit drug dependence.
