I Have Confidence in My Future

The wins and gains I got throughout Narconon were amazing and a bit unreal!

I started with withdrawal and sauna, which was very tough but rewarding. Getting all the drugs out of my body gave me back my physical health. I felt so much more like me physically, which I had not felt in years. Being able to wake up and go about my day without a substance is a feeling I can’t even begin to put into words, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

“I felt true happiness and peace again after objectives, and it was the part of the program I got the most out of.”

Then, I did Objectives, which I found to be a mentally healing experience, and it also helped me let go of so much baggage. Getting all that was weighing my heart and mind off my shoulders was such a freeing feeling. Things that were just pulled out of me that I didn’t even know were still there. I loved Objectives. I would get more out of it and felt like a newer, better me every day. I felt true happiness and peace again after Objectives, and it was the part of the program I got the most out of.

The Ups and Downs Course was also very freeing. Taking responsibility for all the mistakes and wrongdoings I had done to others was so nice. Hearing all my loved one’s voices tell me how proud of me they were for how far I had come made me cry several times. Saying to them how apologetic I was and just owning up to those mistakes gave me a big burst of energy to keep pushing through.

The Personal Values Course was after this and was the most challenging part of the program. Writing about all my destructive actions towards myself, others, and society was not fun but very freeing by the end. It was hard to remember everything I had done and even tougher putting them on paper, but I am so glad I did because I feel like my soul is clean again, and it is a good reminder that my actions affect others and affect me.

Next was the Conditions Course which was my second favorite part of the program because of the preparation and skills it gave me for life. Having a formula to follow to get my life back on track if I ever feel any part of my life slipping, gives me confidence for my future. Reading my conditions and gaining an understanding of people’s needs and wants was very validating. Getting to hear others’ advice on how to better one’s conditions in life was extremely helpful.

I am so, so, so very thankful for everyone at Narconon, from the staff to the students and everything and everyone in between. Thank you all so much.
